Shoulder angle measures the opening between your torso and upper arm at the shoulder while riding. Unlike knee angle, which is mostly driven by one variable (saddle height), shoulder angle is the end result of your whole upper-body setup: reach (stem length + top tube), bar height, and how much your torso is leaning forward.
It's a good proxy for whether your reach fits your flexibility—not just your frame size on paper.
